Welcome to Stamford Artisans Guild James Cook

Grantham based Wood Turner James Cook offers products in English grown hardwood and exotic woods.

James (or Jim as he is popularly known) started woodturning 6 years ago and would describe himself as an enthusiastic amateur, as he already has a ‘real’ job. Mainly self taught, he enjoys making pratical and decorative pieces in both English and exotic woods.

These include clocks, segmented bowls, fruits and many ‘one-off’ items, including a spinning wheel, whilst also being happy to take commissions for individual pieces.

He currently enjoys success at many craft events and previously produced work for The National Trust.

If you wish to contact Jim do Leave a message here and we will put you in touch.
