Handstitched collectible Mohair Bears by Andrea Moore

Using  my  initial and surname, Amore Bears was born. Seems very apt as I have loved bears from a very small age.

My bears and creatures range from about 3″-15″(13-38cm) are made from quality Mohair, Alpaca or sometimes quality plush fabric . They are fully jointed with either cotter pins or nuts and bolts. They are weighted according to their size with a mixture of polyester, plastic pellets and steel shot (which is enclosed in a little bag). All have german glass eyes.

My bears are designed with the collector in mind and because of the traditional components used are unsuitable for children unless bought as an heirloom keepsake and kept safe, out of reach.

All my bears come with a swing tag, stating the bears name and date of birth. I have been making bears for 3 years.
